The activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW and the Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, were on Monday suspended across motor parks in Ondo State

While disclosing that the suspension was with immediate effect, Odebowale attributed the move by the state government to the recent crisis rocking the unions over leadership tussles.

Odebowale also directed Taxi drivers to revert to the old price of N50.
He maintained that security agencies had been notified to effect timely arrests and prosecute any defaulters.
