Abia: Gov. Ikpeazu swear-in Ezem as SSG

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has sworn-in Barrister Chris Ezem, as new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The event, which took place at the Executive chamber of the Government House, Umuahia, on Tuesday, was graced by friends and well wishers, including political associated of Barrister Ezem.

ND REPORTERS reports that the oath of office, was administered by the Solicitor General of Abia state and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Enyinnaya Okezie, Esq.

While charging the SSG to justify his selection, which was as a product of merit, Governor Ikpeazu, tasked him to ensure workings of the State government were fully implemented in the interest of Abians.

“I’m charging you to justify your selection, which is a product of merit, hard work and a solid track record of professionalism and people centrism.

“I ask you to bring the wealth of experience to bear on the workings of government to ensure seamless administrative excellence.”
