7th Delta Assembly: Oborevwori re-elected as new Speaker, Ochorchor emerges Deputy

The seventh Assembly of the Delta State House of Assembly has reelected Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the 11th Speaker of the Assembly in the State.

Rt. Hon. Oborevwori who represents the people of Okpe constituency was unanimously re-elected by a voice vote by twenty-eight other lawmakers.

The member representing the people of Isoko North Constituency, Hon. Tim Owhefere had moved a motion for the Speakership position of the 7th Assembly.

The motion was promptly seconded by the member representing the people of Ukah South Constituency, Hon. Festus Okoh.

This is as the member representing the people of Ukwuani Constituency, Hon. Ochor Ochor, emerged as Deputy Speaker of the House at the inauguration held at the Delta State House of Assembly Complex, Asaba.
