Tani, the 8-year-old homeless Nigerian Chess Champion whose story went viral after his big win, has gotten a new apartment in New York which he moved into with his family.Tani, the 8-year-old homeless Nigerian Chess Champion and his family got the new apartment after a GoFundMe campaign raised more than 200,000 dollars for him, his parents and brother.

Nicholas Kristof, the New York Times columnist who wrote about Tanitoluwa, took to Instagram to share the good news. He wrote;
